Cronus Consulting is a company that specializes in the migration of applications to Open System platforms. We have developed unique products (ESP Products) and special techniques, which offer world leading migration solutions to the Open Systems segment of the Information Technology industry.

Cronus Consulting identified common problem areas that were complicated to manage or unavailable during the implementation of, or migration to, Open Systems platforms. We obtained a number of agencies for leading utility software products to compliment our software products where required. This include the SANFACE Software product "txt2pdf" which enabled our EspMail product to create and email PDF files from any Unix platform.

Coupled with a well-respected technical team and superior technical expertise, the company is now a complete solution provider with an infrastructure of consulting, support and education services to back up the software operation and ensure an efficient implementation, and optimal usage and operation of its software products.

Cronus Consulting enabled their EspMail products to support multiple attachments (Binary or Text) by using sendemails from Sanface.
The use of the product removed the complex coding issues commonly experienced when sending email messages from Unix via SMTP or sendmail protocol.
Using sendemails Cronus can now attach multiple datasets together with embedded messages with the greatest of ease.
Cronus offers a state of the art email and PDF service for any Natural/Adabas Open Systems installation by using the Sanface txt2pdf PRO and sendemails products.

Cronus Consulting has extended their agreement with SANFACE Software. The new Cronus product release ESP version v7.1.1 now utilises the SANFACE products ‘sendemails’ and ‘txt2pdfPRO’ exclusively and is supplied with each installation of the EspBatch software. SANFACE played a vital role in compiling the programs for various target platforms which enables Cronus to ship code with confidence, regardless of the target operating system.

Camgar Consultants has signed an agreement with SANFACE Software.
Camgar Consultants, located in Toronto Canada and specializing in WDS-II and other Progress based software applications, was founded in 1996 by Gary Mittleman. In addition to providing software maintenance and customization services to its clients, Camgar also provides one-stop out sourced IT management services for organizations without in-house IT departments, assuming responsibility for all aspects of clients' data requirements.
The company has made modifications to various Progress based packages to allow emailing reports using txt2pdf. Blank paper reports, invoices, purchase orders, etc. have been modified such that the user can email the document as a PDF attachment using standard Unix mail. Actual forms, like invoices, use the user's logo and form image.
The company has been working with Sanface for several years and finds the package easy to use and the technical support the best.

Plantrol Systems, Ltd. is a trusted custom software solution partner for the printing and forms manufacturing industry. Plantrol provides software and hardware combinations that allow their customers to manage their business without changing the way they do business.

Plantrol's customers needed to send quotations for their products via e-mail and fax, while retaining the ability to print the quote. Because each delivery method requires a unique format, Plantrol was faced with creating three different output processes.
Plantrol decided to use data2pdf to meet this specific need. Plantrol created a database to hold the field names, files, and the positions on the finished document. Plantrol's process sends this information to data2pdf and the resulting PDF file is then faxed, e-mailed, and/or printed, based on the customer's need at the time. Sanface's technology saved Plantrol production time and their customers are very pleased with the options the PDF allows them to exercise.
Plantrol is currently in the process of offering the PDF output as an upgrade and they are also using it as the standard in the new releases of their software. Their Report Program Generator uses data2pdf to create reports as PDF files that can be viewed, faxed, emailed or printed. They've also incorporated data2pdf into OmniTRIEVE, their document management solution.

Asian Computer Services Pte Ltd (UICACS) SANFACE Software partnership

Asian Computer Services Pte Ltd (ACS) was incorporated in 1972 under the umbrella of Haw Par Group, owned by UOB Group. Our core product, PAYmaster Payroll Module was developed in 1990 and has been one of the pioneer payroll vendors supplying Payroll Solutions to Singapore and Malaysia market.

PAYmaster has been used by more than 1000 organisations of various sizes and from diverse industries. After the merger with UIC Technologies Pte Ltd in year 2000, being stronger both financially and in physical backup, it further enables UIC Asian Computer Services Pts Ltd (UICACS) to improve the level of professionalism on the services offered to all its valued customers.

UIC Asian Computer Services Pte Ltd recently partnered with SANFACE Software to convert selected confidential PAYmaster reports into PDF documents with password encryption. TXT2PDF Pro + Crypt is selected as the tool to be used for PDF conversion after evaluating other products. With the security component of this tool, it helps PAYmaster to maintain the confidentiality of the payroll reports. The tool is easy to use and can be executed in the command line. Sanface’s TXT2PDF Pro + Crypt helps our product, PAYmaster, to generate a paperless confidential report. This tool also provides the usage of a background design in the reports that are useful for some of our customers.

The Information Development Consultants, Inc. (iDC) - SANFACE Software partnership

Information Development Consultants, Inc. (iDC) is a trusted financial management software solution partner for government and non-profit organizations.
Their scalable, flexible products are pre-designed for quick implementation, seamless integration, and can be tailored to fit the specific needs of both IT and Finance staffs.
4gov® is iDC’s web-based product for managing all aspects of government finance and producing accounting and payroll reports.

iDC recently partnered with SANFACE Software to convert all of 4gov®’s standard package reports into PDF documents.
After reviewing several products, txt2pdf PRO proved to be an excellent tool for the conversion.
"The PDF format adds a security component to 4gov®’s ‘open’ reporting structure", cites iDC’s President, Carolyne Turner.    iDC purchases and installs a license for txt2pdf PRO at their client locations.
4gov® reports can then be converted to a PDF format that can print on any printer and are easier to present, e-mail and share over the internet, plus the search capabilities of Adobe can be used in locating information in large reports.
"Our system is web-based and our clients want to send reports to government officials and department managers or print straight from the browser", explains Rick Adams, iDC’s Chief Software Engineer, "txt2pdf is executed in the background to provide a seamless interface for our clients."
